home or hospital visits a spiritually rewarding experience.
- Your Voice, God's Word
by William Sydnor. Harrisburg, PA: Morehouse Publishing, 1988. 56 pages.
Interesting, down-to-earth advice on how to read effectively in church,
including tips on intonation, breath control, and interpreting Biblical
language.
- A Lector's Guide to the Episcopal
Eucharistic Lectionary by Frank Mulligan. Wichita, KS: St. Mark's
Press, 1986. 237 pages. Lists all of the readings prescribed in the
Episcopal lectionary with commentary on the meaning of each passage
and suggestions for effective reading.
