The Altar Guild is the priest's partner in making the worship life of the parish run smoothly. The guild of men and women take care of the furnishings of the altar and sanctuary. Other responsibilities include purchasing vestments and linens; ordering and arranging flowers; replenishing the supply of bread, wine and candles; and participating in special rites like the stripping of altar on Maundy Thursday.

Altar guild workers prepare for all worship services including evensong and the other offices as well as all the sacramental rites. The altar guild workers prepare a place for the Eucharist celebration twice every Sunday.
